Dear potential Au Pair, We are very excited about having someone join our family from another country! Here's a little bit of background about us: We are a family of five. We have two boys (8 years old and 6 years old) and one girl (almost 4 years old). Both of us are stay-at-home parents, enjoying the time we are spending with our children while they are young. However, we are also busy with volunteer work and need help caring for the children. Loyd is 8 years old. He is a boy who can get very focused on something, concentrating on mastering a particular activity. He is enthusiastic about lots of things and has a positive outlook in life. He goes to elementary school 3 days a week. He loves playgrounds, swimming (he once even went swimming while it was raining!), gymnastics class, skiing and reading books. Steve is 6 years old, but thinks he's 6 years old like He is quite independent and likes to do everything himself. He attends preschool 3 days a week. Like Loyd, he loves playgrounds, swimming, gymnastics, skiing and reading books. Ellie is almost 4 years old. She is very loving, and likes giving everyone hugs and kisses. Although she is not yet two years old, she is talking a lot.. she is able to tell us when she is ready to go to sleep, that she wants to go outside and swing in the playground, etc. Why an Au Pair? We would like to get additional help because we want to continue spending quality time with our children. We want to be able to continue doing lots of different activities and traveling with our children. That would be difficult without additional help, since the children are all so young. We are also excited about the idea of hosting someone from another country for the cultural exchange experience. We have had a long history of being interested in different cultures and traveling. Before having children, we lived in Japan for 3 years and did a lot of traveling in Asia. (Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Korea, Taiwan, India, Indonesia, Vietnam and Palau). We have also traveled many times to Europe - England, France, Italy, Turkey, Netherlands ...Even with young children, we continue to enjoy traveling to other countries. Since Loyd was born, we've taken them to Italy, Japan, France, Canada and Aruba. We are hoping that our au pair will be able to travel with us, wherever the winds take us in the next year. Som Au Pair-Extraordinaire har du en arbetsvecka på som mest 45 timmar Skandinaviska Institutet är ditt ombud och vi företräder dig som au pair.
