We are a young, active American family, that relocated back to the U.S.four years ago after three years in Europe (one year in Stockholm and two years in London).My husband, Steven and I are both 41.We both work at very demanding jobs on Wall Street.We have three children: Katherine 7, and Kyle, 5 and Stephen 8 months.Katherine is in second grade.She is a very sweet, but strong willed little girl.She is very social and quite verbal and independent for her age.Kyle is in Kindergarten and is a sweet boy, loves to have fun and is becoming more independently minded, like his older sister.Stephen is our latest addition, loves to smile and is a very easy wake up-eat-play and go to sleep baby.We enjoy biking, running, tennis and skiing.The children attend swimming, music, language and cooking classes.We have had 5 previous Au Pairs over the past 5 years, and have enjoyed getting to know each one, sharing in a year of experiences and then continuing the friendship after they have returned home.Several of our Au pairs have also returned to spend their holidays with our family.We are big supporters of the Au Pair in America program.We moved to a town called Scarsdale, New York about 4 years ago.I work from home, and travel for 2 days at a time, about once a month.Scarsdale is a very nice, quiet, family-oriented community, but it also has easy access to all the excitement of New York City.We live in a completely modernized one hundred-year-old house on a quiet street.It has a great outdoor space: lots of porches and nice big back yard.Your bedroom would be on the third floor, which also has one guest bedroom, a bathroom and a sitting room area.I believe that the most important thing is communication.I will make every effort to keep you informed ahead of time whenever I have anything going on that will alter our normal schedule.If you let me know in advance, I will do my best to accommodate any requests you have.Most of alI think it's important that we talk about things as we go along.I think I'm pretty approachable, so please, if there is ever anything that is bothering you, please come to me and let's talk about it.I hope that you decide to come join us.I think we would all have a lot of fun, and we would love to have you as part of our family for the year.Tillträde: Våren -08 Ålder: 18 - 26 år.
