Au Pair/Auburndale, MA

Cathy is 11 years old.She has big blue eyes (with a touch of brown), glistening red-brown hair, and a wonderful laugh.She is lots of fun-- joyous, loving, beautiful, healthy, very interactive, constantly active, determined and a bit mischievous.Cathy is highly verbal and enjoys talking and is a good listener.Cathy loves sports, particularly swimming (which she does competitively), soccer and basketball.She is very strong.Cathy also loves nature and animals, as well as pets, particularly dogs. Our home is in Auburndale, Massachusetts, in a friendly and extremely safe suburban neighborhood about 20 minutes from Boston by either public transportation or automobile.Boston is full of universities, colleges and young adults and has lots of art, theater, music, cafes and sports.The Boston area offers enormous educational and cultural opportunities for our au pair.We live in a large Victorian house filled with plants with a porch swing in the front and a garden in the back.Our house has lots of rooms for our family, including one for our au pair, and two for visitors. When Cathy is not at one of her activities, she will be doing her homework.Our au pair will help Cathy as needed until dinner, at about 8 pm.On the weekend, our au pair will stay with Cathy for one or two evenings and sometimes for some hours during the day on Saturday.Our au pair will be free to pursue its own activities most weekdays after 9 pm and when Cathy is at school (between 8 am and 3 pm) and also generally for one day of each weekend.However, our schedules will vary and not be identical from week to week.We each travel for professional reasons (Bob more than Martha), but we would not expect our au pair to stay home alone with Cathy for any extended period of time.For those trips we take as a family, we hope our au pair would sometimes join us.Our au pairs in the past have accompanied us on trips to Australia, Sweden, Canada, Colorado (to ski), Texas, Chicago, Washington DC, New York City, Indiana, Oregon, Seattle, Vermont and Disney World.Tillträde: Hösten -08 Fri resa och sjukförsäkring ingår (värde 5800:-) om du har en komplett ansökan före den 31 juli 2008.Gäller vid avresa till USA under 2008.Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Regelbundna Au Pairmöten i USA.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
