Au Pair/Aurora, Illinois

We live in Aurora, Illinois which is about 35 miles West of Chicago.Ken works in Aurora, Illinois Chicago for an insurance company.He has been with his company for thirteen years in the sales and marketing areas.Laura works for a magazine publisher in Addison, Illinois but works mostly out of her office at home. The family stay active during the evenings and on weekends.Chicago is a short distance by train and a few times a year we take advantage of the world-class aquarium and astronomy programs offered.Tim will be entering 4th Grade when school starts in August.He is very active and likes all sports.He plays basketball, baseball and American football during the year.Tim is a bit shy until he feels comfortable with a situation or person.He is very caring and looks out for the welfare of others.He has a pet hamster named Tie-Dye.Adam will be starting Kindergarten in the fall.He is going to be going to school all day and he is really looking forward to this.We live in a suburban neighborhood on a cul-de-sac (road that ends in a circle).The neighborhood was started in 1998.Our house is four years old.(t is a two-story, four bed room, two and a half bath house with a front and back yard.We have a private bedroom for the Au Pair with TV.The Au Pair can use a bathroom upstairs that is sometimes also used by the boys.We will provide a car for the au pair to use to transport the boys to activities and the au pair will have access to the car for personal outings.We also will provide a cell phone and then you will have access to email and the internet.Laura comes from a family of 5 and her brothers and sisters and their children come to visit on occasion.We try to include the au pair in family outings and she may choose to come along or not.We want our you to have an enjoyable twelve months in America.We try to balance our role of employer and friend during our relationship.While the primary role of our Au Pair is to help us watch our boys during the day, we make every attempt to help our Au Pair experience the Chicago area to its fullest.Tillträde: Hösten -08 Fri resa och sjukförsäkring ingår (värde 5800:-) om du har en komplett ansökan före den 31 juli 2008.Gäller vid avresa till USA under 2008.Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Regelbundna Au Pairmöten i USA.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
