Au Pair/Batavia, IL.

We are a family from Batavia, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, located about 40 miles west of the city.Our family would probably be described as a big sports family.All of our boys are very involved in hockey and baseball.We go to many games each week.Tom is our 12year old who just completed 6th grade.He will be 13 in August.Tom is very involved in hockey, and right now is in the middle of the baseball season.This was Tom's first year of Middle School, He really enjoyed this new experience and did very well.Tom is generally well behaved, and can be very helpful with his younger brothers.Bart turned 10 in February.He just completed 4th grade.Bert can best be described as a character.Not a day goes by when he does not have us laughing about something.Although he would never admit it, he has formed quite a bond with all of our au pairs.Bart will often test his limits.Although Cliff turned 6 on May 3.He is generally very easy going, but sometimes needs a little extra attention since NOW seems to get a lot of attention as the youngest one.Cliff is a bit different than our other boys in that he likes to take his time about everything, and do things at his own pace. Luke turns 4 on June 14.He is very flexible since he is used to being in the car a lot going to all of our family activities.Luke loves when all of his brothers are around him, and he already loves playing sports.He also plays hockey and is a great swimmer for his age.In our area there are many au pairs with various au pair companies.Many of the girls meet in the evenings at local restaurants or coffee shops.This has been wonderful for our au pairs because there is always someone around to do something with.When a new girl arrives, the other girls have generally been very kind in showing her around and introducing her to the other girls.Batavia is in an area called the Tri-cities.There are three towns, which are all on the Fox River.It is a very nice area with many restaurants, bike paths, and shopping areas.The community college is nearby.Chicago is very accessible by either car or train, and there are many things to do in the city.All of our au pairs have spent a lot of time in the city, usually taking the train.We are a very easygoing family and since we both work very hard, we like to spend our free time in activities with the boys.Most time spent with friends involves family activities since most of our family and friends also have young children.We look forward to meeting you soon.Du får alltid eget boende, 2 veckors betald semester, $500-$1000 dollar i studiemedel beroende på au pairtjänst.Flygbiljett t & r om du arbetar ett år.Visum för 13 månader.13:e månaden kan du resa runt i USA på egen hand eller genom Track America.Vi har ett ombud på platsen där du bor, som hjälper dig till rätta i din vardag och presenterar dig för andra ungdomar i området.Tillträde: Hösten -06 Ålder: 18 - 26 år.
