Arbetsbeskrivning

Hello..I am Melaine. My husband Paul, son Elias, daughter Cecilia and cat Bandit are looking forward to beginning another year with an au pair.We had our first au pair in 2002, our second au pair lives in Brazil and our third au pair was German, our fourth au pair was from Latvia. My son will be 9 years old on July 2 and will be entering fourth grade in September. My daughter turned 6 on April and will attend first in September. They are great kids.Phillip is extremely energetic, loves sports, is very smart and requires someone who has had previous babysitting experience with active little boys!!Catherine is a sweet girl who loves to play, point, and swing. She loves books, music, singing and her friends.A typical day in our house begins at 7:00 am when the children get up, dress, and have their breakfast.Breakfast usually consists of eggs, bagels, cereal, sometimes fruit or yogurt. Both children leave for school at 8:15 am and they must be picked up at 3:20 pm.The school is located right around the corner and is about an 8-minute walk. After school there are typical things you will be in charge of like taking Phillip to his violin lesson, or Catherine to gymnastics class.Dinner is usually around 6pm and I get home between 8 pm and 8:30pm.I work three days sometimes four days a week so there will be one or two days where I will take care of all of the childcare responsibilities. So to recap the daily au pair hours three or four days a week: 7am - 9am - morning routine and going to school.3:00 pm-8:00 PM.(after school activities, homework, dinner, Sometimes bath. Now a little about the environment, your room is on the third floor and has its own bathroom, TV, and stereo, it is a nice big sunny room and I think all of our au pairs have enjoyed it.We also have a car you can use on your time of during the week and on the weekends. Some information about where we live... It is a great neighborhood with lots of kids. There is a great big beautiful park right up the Street with open lawns, lots of trees and two playgrounds. The children attend school in the neighborhood and love to play outdoors. Our house and yard are small but our location is great! There are a lot of au pairs within a 10-mile radius and lots of places to go to school, and the best part of course is we are 14 miles outside of New York City. There is great bus service to the city and the bus stop is right down the block. Our previous au pairs have enjoyed all that New York has to offer. We do not smoke or drink alcohol in our house and would like our au air to observe this tradition in the house, A year in Bloomfield, N.J.is awaiting you... come and join us!Tillträde: Hösten -07 Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.
