Au Pair/Boston.

Hello, Here is a little about our family, house, neighborhood, and schools.Donald's parents are both immigrants to America.His mother is Swedish and his father is Syrian.He spent many summers in Sweden (Jönköping and Malmö); with has cousins, aunts, and mormor (grandmother).Donald grew up in Upstate New York Binghampton) and lived a year in Malta (at 16 years old).He studied chemistry at Binghamton University and attended medical school in Montreal. Kathleen is of Chinese heritage and was born and raised in Malaysia.She spent her last 1 1/2 years of high school in Singapore to study in English and came to America to attend Boston University where she studied Biology and Economics.She then attended medical school in St, Louis.She is now working as a doctor and teaching medical residents.Her interests are education, travel, and spending time with her family. Donald and Kathleen speak English with each other but Swedish or Cantonese with the children.Julia and Ryan are able to easily switch between all three languages with apparent ease.We would like our prospective au-pair to be a part, of our family, With the building of trust, we hope that the au pair will take on the responsibilities of running the household and helping us raise our children and be a good role model for them.We would like the au pair to get to know Boston and all that it has to offer since the more the au pair discovers, the more our children will discover, through her. Our house is big enough so that that we can all find a place for privacy.The room that our new family member (au-pair!) will have is a (fully furnished with a queen sized bed, desk, large closet, bureau and a large picture window that looks out to a private forest in our backyard.In the room there is a telephone, television with dvd/vcr player.The house has wireless high-speed DSL internet throughout the house and the porch and can be accessed in the au-pair bedroom.We have a very nice backyard with a new, large porch.The backyard is very private and quiet.We would like our au pair to be part of our family.Our au pair's happiness is of utmost importance to us.if our au pair is happy, this will in turn reflect onto our children.We would like our au pair to feel free to discuss issues around the work with raising the children and running the house honestly and in a timely manner.We hope that the au pair will be able to confide in us as friends and mentors, We would like to see the au pair grow personally and culturally and encourage the au pair to discover Boston and its surrounding communities.Tillträde: Våren -07 Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Inga kostnader för flyg om du arbetar ett år som au pair.Visum för 13 månader.Försäkring ingår.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
