Au Pair/Boston.

We decided to host an au pair because we wanted our children to have the experience of developing a friendship with a person from a different country and to be exposed to a new culture.The primary focus for the au pair would be our six year old son although we also have two daughters aged nineteen and sixteen.Our son is a wonderful and well-behaved little boy that loves to play with trains and trucks.He also likes to run around outside to play on the swing set or kick a soccer ball around.He is full of questions and his favourite word is 'why'.As we think about the qualities important in our au pair there are primarily three that come to the top.First, to be a caring and loving person.We work hard to establish a safe and warm home environment.Second, to be flexible and adapting.We like to adapt to the spontaneous opportunities presented in the day, whether it be going to the beach, running or watching a movie.Third, to be honest and open about issues and feelings.We want our children to be comfortable talking about any topic and sharing the good and bad things going on in their lives.We live in a large antique house built in 1857 and we have renovated most of the house.The weekends are typically spent around the house and our family also takes several vacations during the year.Every summer we spend a week at the beach during which the entire family gets together.We look forward to inviting the au pair on all of our vacations and we will welcome her into our home and she will be a new member of our family.Tillträde: sommar/host 2009 Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Regelbundna Au Pairmöten i USA.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
