Boston is a major academic and cultural center in the U.S.We are close to dozens of universities, many of them world-famous, including Harvard, MIT, Boston University, and Boston College. Our house is located in a residential neighborhood of Boston.We are a twenty minute ride on the commuter train to the center of the city.By bus and subway, the ride is about 40 minutes.Within a five minute walk from our house are shops, restaurants, a library, internet cafe and coffee house, a playground, and a large park.The au pair's room is on the top floor of our house, and has a fall-size bed, cable television, air conditioning, dresser, closet and desk.We provide the au pair with use of a cell phone and a car to use during work and off hours.Several au pairs live nearby, and there are countless opportunities to meet other young people in Boston.Our children entertain us every day with the new things they learn.She loves dolls, drawing, listening to stories, school, and her friends.At 4,Dennis loves sports, movies, toy cars, and superheroes.Laura and Dennis attend the same school from 9:15 to 3:15 every weekday.They ride the school bus, which picks them up and drops them off around the corner.Simon our youngest, is a very happy, smiley baby who is already very good at getting around by sliding around on the floor, and loves to make "raspberries" with his lips.He is a pretty mellow baby, and still naps 2-3 hours per day.He adores his big sister and brother, who are very proud of him and pretty good at helping entertain him.Patric is a fifth-grade teacher in a French Immersion program in a nearby school district.His students are ten and eleven years old, and he teaches half their subjects in French.Kathleen is a lawyer for a small Boston law firm.She used to be a prosecutor in Boston.She specialized in prosecuting domestic violence.Kathleen enjoys home decorating projects and needlework.We are now on our fourth au pair.Before we had children, we were a host family for many years for foreign students, and we have known young people from many different countries.We would be happy to have au pair candidates speak with our current au pair about us.To us, the most important qualities for an au pair are a genuine love for children, warmth, reliability, and good judgment.Beyond this, we truly hope that our new au pair will also become a member of our family, and will even consider extending their stay after the first year.We took forward to speaking with you!Tillträde: Vintern -06 Ålder: 18 - 26 år.
