Rachel is an outgoing, fun-loving, 12-year old girl who will be starting 7th grade in September.Rachel has had an au pair since she was two years old.Our new au pair will live with her father, and stepmother, in Newton, Massachusetts.Rachel's parents are divorced and Rachel lives primarily with dad, but spends one day a week at her mother's house.Newton is a beautiful suburb of Boston, located about 15 km west of downtown Boston, and is easily accessible by public transportation.There is a very large au pair cluster in New-ton, and there are many activities, movies.shops, and restaurants close by.There are very many colleges and universities in Boston.There will be several choices for our au pair to take classes at, but the best choice is usually to take evening classes at the Harvard University Extension School.Rachel goes to school in Boston, and takes the bus to school.Our au pair will take Rachel to the bus in the morning and pick her up in the afternoon.She will also drive her to a lesson after school on some days, and stay at home with her in the afternoon after school.On some days, Rachel will come home from school on the bus.Most days, however, she has sports after school and will need to be picked up at school.Our au pair will have a car to use to drive Rachel, and for her own use in the local Boston area.Because she will sometimes need to pick Rachel up at school, it is very important that our au pair have driving experience and feel comfortable driving into Boston.Our au pair will generally not work in the evening, and will be off most weekends.We may occasionally ask her to work a few hours (during the daytime only) on a weekend, but this will be very rare.We are looking for an au pair who loves children, and who will enjoy spending time with Rachel and her friends, and helping with her homework.Rachel is very sweet and fun loving, and we would like an au pair who is warm and interacts easily with her.Because Rachel will be in school from 8 AM until 3 PM or 5 PM, our au pair will have plenty of free time most days, unless Rachel is home on school vacation or home sick.We will need our au pair to be available to work, however, in case Rachel is sick and doesn't go to school.It is important that our au pair be reliable and available.In comparison to most, our au pair will not work many hours, but needs to be available if a problem arises.Our house has a private au pair suite on the ground level.There is a private entrance, a bedroom, a private bathroom, and a "kitchenette" with a sink, a microwave, and small refrigerator to keep snacks.The au pair's room has a computer to use for email and play Tillträde: Hösten -07 Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Inga kostnader för flyg om du arbetar ett år som au pair.Visum för 13 månader.Försäkring ingår.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
