Greetings!This is a nice, quiet, family oriented community about 35 miles outside of the nation's capital, Washington, DC.We enjoy living in Boyds because it has so much to offer.Besides being close to Washington, we are near a community college, movie theater, churches, library, sports and recreation facilities, and many small restaurants and shops.We feel that this area is a nice place to raise a family.Regina is 4 years old and attends school part time near our house.Laurie 22 months old and enjoys walking, exploring, and practicing her "talking".Laurie stays home during the day with our current au pair.Both girls are very loving and enjoy playing, dancing, reading, listening to music, doing arts and crafts, and playing outside.Max is 37 years old and works as a Computer Software Tester and is a big sports fan.He has his Masters degree in Business Administration.Emma is 37 also and works as a Physician Assistant and enjoys more relaxing activities like reading.She has her Masters degree in Health Science.As a family, we enjoy spending time with family and friends, day trips, weekend getaways and attending sports events.We have been with the Au Pair in America program for several years and are used to having an au pair in our household as a member of our family.Our focus as a family is to have a warm, loving, and nurturing environment.It is very important that the au pair who joins us also has these qualities.As our new au pair, your primary focus will be the children and spending quality time with them.In addition to being a member of our family, we would also like for you to be independent and seek other interests and hobbies that will also help you grow.This can be a fantastic year for you where you will learn a lot about yourself and American culture.We look forward to welcoming you into our home so that you feel comfortable and equally enjoy the experience.Tillträde: Hösten -09 Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Regelbundna Au Pairmöten i USA.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
