Au Pair/Brooklyn Heights, New York.

.Cindy runs a nonprofit agency that provides policy advice to the New York State and City governments.Before taking that position, she worked in in the New York State and City governments.Outside of her professional life and our children, her main interest is music and theater.Cindy sings and helps run a local choral group.Melinda is 12 years old (she will be 13 in February).She is very bright, funny and charming (yes, her parents are writing this, but we are trying to be objective!).Tina is 8 years old (her birthday is in September).She, too, is very bright and funny, as well as energetic and lively.She is determined and has high standards for herself.She is a little small physically but has a big personality - she brings a lot of joy and excitement into a room.Both girls have nice friends and good values, and they are well-behaved.They love each other and, while they sometimes fight.they usually find a way to work things out.The Children's Activities and Care Needs Since the children are older and in school full-time, we need someone to care for them in the late afternoon/early evening - to pick them up at school., get them to after-school activities or to a friend's house, remind them about homework, and make dinner for them.We are also very much hoping to find someone who will enjoy their company, and whom the girls will enjoy talking with.Our Apartment and Our Neighborhood We live in Brooklyn Heights, which is a beautiful, residential neighborhood in New York City.While our immediate neighborhood is somewhat quiet, we are one subway stop from Manhattan - so there is plenty of opportunity to experience New York City.Our neighborhood has many families., and there are a lot, of au pairs in the area.We live in a large 4-bedroom apartment.The apartment is on the 3 upper floors of a 5story house.Our lowest floor is the living room, dining room, and kitchen.The middle floor has 3 bedrooms and the au pair's.The top floor has Melinda's and Tina's room, and a family/TV room,..
