Au Pair/California.

I guess you could say our family started 12 years ago when my husband and I first met at college.After graduating we moved to Birmingham, Alabama where I started teaching Dance and my husband continued with his education.During those 2 years, we got married.After my husband graduated we decided to move to California where he had been offered a promising job.So now we've been living here for over 5 years and have two beautiful daughters!The eldest is 4 years, and our youngest is 2years old.Both our children love being outdoors, and are bright and smiling children.The eldest one is a bit shy with strangers at first, but soon warms up.We still continue to go camping, skiing, boating, hiking, and biking, as the girls really enjoy it and are never any trouble.The eldest one really likes to listen to music.Both of us work full-time and we are looking to the au pair to care for both children together.Previously our elder daughter went to a baby-sitter each day, but since we had our younger daughter, we have wanted to keep them both together with the help of an au pair from Au Pair in America.We want someone young, active and energetic to walk the kids to the park and to play with them in the backyard.We want the children to take advantage of the beautiful weather we have in California for about 9 months of the year.We also really appreciate the foreign-exchange aspect of the Programme.-it's a wonderful way for the children to come face-to-face with another culture from an early age and for the au pair to become immersed in our culture.There is so much to see and do in California and we would love to introduce it all to our au pair.We often go skiing in the mountains or take day-trips to the coast.Finally the idea of welcoming your children's caregiver into your home as a member of the family is very important to us.We don't want our children to feel that they have to go to day-care in the same way that we both go to work, we'd rather they feel comfortable in their own environment with a caregiver who is more like a big sister than a babysitter.We're really excited about welcoming you to our home, having spoken to so many other families and friends who have done the same.Tillträde: Vintern/våren -07 Ålder: 18 - 26 år.
