Au Pair/Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

Hi!We are the Carneys and we live in North Carolina.Jim is a landscape architect and builder.He works four days a week with a company in Raleigh (about a half an hour without traffic, one way) and one day a week working on his own, doing independent design work.I am an attorney and work at a small law firm in Chapel Hill.My commute is about 5 minutes.I am very fortunate to work part time and to have a very flexible schedule.My work consists mostly of drafting legal documents and meeting clients in our off-ice.I do not have to go to court or travel with my job.Jim does not travel with his job either.In the summer time, we usually go to the beach for a week or two.My parents have property on Bald Held Island, on the coast of North Carolina.We usually travel once a year to Florida to see Jim's mother.If we were to have an au pair, we would like for her to join us on these trips, but it would not be a requirement.We envision the role of an au pair in our family to be twofold.Right now, I have two babysitters who watch the kids while I work.I spend a lot of time and effort managing the schedules of the babysitters.I probably work about 25-30 hours per week.The second reason we would like an au pair is that, because we have three kids, we always seem to need an extra pair of hands during our dinner time and bed time routines.It would be a great relief to have an hour or an hour and half of help around this time.(Maybe four nights a week.Maybe twice a month we would like to have an evening out.I also am excited about the kids having a young babysitter who is a constant in their life.I think this would be a very positive and happy experience for them.This past summer, our babysitter was a young college student from Austria, and the kids just adored her.By the way, we also have two big, old dogs.They are extremely friendly (a golden retriever and a chocolate Labrador retriever).That's the short story of the Carneys Tillträde: Våren/Sommaren -07 Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Inga kostnader för flyg om du arbetar ett år som au pair.Visum för 13 månader.Försäkring ingår.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
