Welcome to our family!It is our pleasure to host a guest from another country into our home.We live in a northern suburb of Charlotte, North Carolina, and we are a family of five members.We will be moving into a new home next month, and have a separate room and bath that will be designated for our Au Pair guest.It is our hope that the Au Pair experience will be mutually enriching to both our family as well as our guest.Since the Au Pair will be living with us for a full year, it will be our primary goal to make our guest feel welcome, as she will essentially become a member of our family.Allow me to begin by giving a brief synopsis of each of our family members starting with the parents.My wife and I have been married for thirteen years and we have three children, Rachel (age 9), Thomas (age 7) and Benjamin (age 4).Overall, our children are healthy and lead active, normal lives with school and extracurricular activities.It is our goal as parents to have our children live balanced lives by instilling in each of them the values of education, religion, friendships, physical health, and respect for, each other.Rachel our eldest child is in the fourth grade.She loves to read, play the piano, and is in an accelerated math class at school.She has a network of friends in our neighborhood and likes to play with her American Girl doll collection with her friends and board games and game boy \with her brothers.Although she is my "sweetie-pie," she has a hard time getting up in the mornings and keeps an untidy bedroom.Thomas, our middle child, is in the second grade.He is filled with energy and is typically going a mile a minute.Thomas enjoys reading the Harry Potter series and watching Star Wars and Lord of the Rings.He is involved in little league baseball during the spring months and enjoys swimming at our neighborhood pool with his friends.Benjamin, our youngest child, is in preschool.He will attend kindergarten next year and go to the same school with his older brother and sister.Benjamin is creative.He loves to draw pictures and color, and he asks us several times to spell words that later appear in friendly messages in his greeting cards.We look forward to hearing from a counselor in the coming days in continuing with the application and screening process.We have heard positive comments about the Au Pair program and I truly feel our children will benefit immensely through this culturally enriching experience.Du får alltid eget boende, 2 veckors betald semester, $500-$1000 dollar i studiemedel beroende på au pairtjänst.Flygbiljett t & r om du arbetar ett år.Visum för 13 månader.13:e månaden kan du resa runt i USA på egen hand eller genom Track America.Vi har ett ombud på platsen där du bor, som hjälper dig till rätta i din vardag och presenterar dig för andra ungdomar i området.Tillträde: Sommaren -06 Ålder: 18 - 26 år.
