Au Pair/Chicago.

We are pleased and excited to be welcoming an au pair into our family and home.My husband and I have been married for 15 years and we have two children, our daughter aged 7 and our son aged 3.They are very close to each other even though there is a four-year age gap.Our daughter loves activities such as bicycling and roller blading.Our son loves music, reading and playing with his sister. We live in a four bed roomed house in a suburb of Chicago.We have a communal (no fences) back yard with the neighbours; it is a real family oriented community where the children come out in the afternoon to play together.Down town is a fifteen-minute walk where there are stores, a health club, an ice-skating rink and movie theatres. Our daughter is in school from 8:00 - 2:30 and participates in after school activities.We would like our au pair to help her with her homework most days, which is usually spelling, and math.Our son attends pre-school on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and will be enrolled in an activity such as gym tigers.On other days there is plenty to do such as go to the park, feed the ducks, play at home or with friends.We will need our au pair to take both the children to their schools and collect them at the end of the day.We will not expect her to be involved in all the after school activities as their Grandmother (who has until now been their primary caregiver during working hours) would like to be involved.
