Meeting and getting to know people from different cultures is very important to us, and it's been an important part of our lives as a family.This will be our seventh year in the Au Pair in America program, and we've enjoyed having people from around the world share our home.The many things to do and many different kinds of people you can meet are very important to us.It's an experience we want to share with our children, so we've decided to stay in the center city.Chicago is the third largest city in the United States.While it is big, it is a very friendly place and each of our au pairs has enjoyed everything the city has to offer.We live in an apartment that is about 270 square meters, so there is a lot of room.One of the best things about Chicago is the many parks and museums.It's a five-minute walk to the beach on the lake, the city's zoo, a conservatory and flower garden, a duck pond, and two separate playgrounds for the kids.Tennis courts and a golf driving range are less than one kilometer away, and we can see the rooftop of the Nature Museum from our windows.Miranda is in primary school (second grade), and Brian is in first grade.Both attend school five days a week.This allows us to set a regular schedule for you and you have a break each day when they are both in school.We always plan to make sure our au pair has time to herself and to get to experience the city, as free time is as important as being a part of our family.In our area of the city there are also plenty of other au pairs to meet and get together with.There are many opportunities to enjoy yourself when you are not with us.There are many restaurants within a kilometer of our home, and many stores within the area.The major shopping district in Chicago is just three kilometers from our home and includes many movie theatres.Bus and taxi transportation is convenient; there are four bus lines within one block of our front door.It's also easy to get a taxi: the building has a doorman who will get you a taxi if you need one.Most of your responsibilities are based on the children and their schedule.The biggest task is in the morning getting ready for the school day.With our central in-tow location, we don't anticipate that the au pair will need to use the car outside of requirements of the program for childcare responsibilities.We look forward to greeting you as the newest addition to our family soon.Du får alltid eget boende, 2 veckors betald semester, $500-$1000 dollar i studiemedel beroende på au pairtjänst.Flygbiljett t & r om du arbetar ett år.Visum för 13 månader.13:e månaden kan du resa runt i USA på egen hand eller genom Track America.Vi har ett ombud på platsen där du bor, som hjälper dig till rätta i din vardag och presenterar dig för andra ungdomar i området.Tillträde Vintern -06 Ålder: 18 - 26 år.
