Welcome to the Johnson family.Steven is a dentist in private practice.Jessica now works full time at his pharmaceutical manufacturing company.Sarah will be finishing five mornings a week preschool in May, and she will be beginning kindergarten in September.Although it is an easy walk, we do have a car available for when it is more desirable to drive than walk.Our home is in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and as part of a townhouse association, which professionally maintains all the landscaping and private lake.We are an easy walk to the Elk Grove library and community center.The community center includes indoor and outdoor swimming pools, fitness center, gymnasiums, dance studio, and children's indoor and outdoor play areas.Grocery and light shopping is adjacent to the community center.We are also an easy walk to a 3700-acre park that includes a lake for fishing and boating and woods and meadows with a paved trail for walking, running, biking, and in-line skating.Woodfield shopping center, which is billed as one of the world's largest indoor shopping malls, is 10 minutes away by car.The Grove village is situated by major highways that allow easy access to all points in the area and downtown Chicago.We live in a community that is located next to the third largest city in the United States.Chicago's diversity is evident in that sub-communities can be found for virtually every nationality in the world within its city limits.Locally we believe that Chicago is the most "liveable" large city in the United States.We have a multitude of museums and are internationally known for our theater and cultural activities.Though Chicago is large, it is not crowded and dirty as are same urban centers.Visitors from other cities often comment how readily accessible and affordable they find the activities in the city to be.There are dozens of colleges and universities in the area, which can allow study in virtually any area of interest.We seek a companion within our family and as such we would encourage our au pair to grow and experience all aspects of our environment.Tillträde: Sommaren -09 Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Inga kostnader för flyg om du arbetar ett år som au pair.Visum för 13 månader.Försäkring ingår.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
