Au Pair/Cincinnati, OH

Sports are an important part of our family life.We enjoy golf, tennis, running, skiing, hockey, swimming and Cleveland Browns football (season ticket holders).I coach my son's hockey team and play hockey 2-3 times a week from September to May.Nicholas (father) runs almost every day and our children are becoming more active as they grow older.Both kids attend day camps in the summer, which have a sports component, and both will attend a week or two of sports camp at the local country club.We also have a swimming pool in the backyard, so needless to say our children started swimming at an early age, and can spend an entire day in and around the pool.John is getting to be a better reader but has a ways to go before he can read Harry Potter.Sophie loves playing dress up and mommy to her large collection of dolls.During the school year, they have a pretty standard routine of activities (hockey, dance, tutoring, play dates, etc.) The au pair will live on the third floor of our home, which we recently remodeled (approx.1000 sq.ft.).She will have a private room with a bathroom at one end of the floor.There is also an additional guest bedroom, sitting room (with a television) and bathroom on the third floor so there is plenty of space.Our children each have their own bedroom and they share a bathroom.We recently remodeled the kitchen, which is where we spend a great deal of time as a family.The kids also spend time in the basement, which is their playroom, and is next to our exercise room.As mentioned above we have a swimming pool in the backyard and we spend a fair amount of time in the yard/garden.We would be fairly flexible with our au pair in terms of her use of time during her off hours and she would have her own vehicle.However, we would expect that she would not smoke in or around the house, let us know her general whereabouts, not stay out late on the weeknights, and have no over night guests unless we approve in advance.We had a great experience with our first au pair, who has been with us for over a year.We think that this experience has been a tremendous learning experience for both the au pair and our family.We look forward to many more years as a host family.Tillträde: Hösten -08 Fri resa och sjukförsäkring ingår (värde 5800:-) om du har en komplett ansökan före den 31 juli 2008.Gäller vid avresa till USA under 2008.Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Regelbundna Au Pairmöten i USA.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
