Dear Au Pair, We look forward to meeting you!Welcome to our family in Columbus, New Jersey.My name is Jodi and I'm the Mom" around here.My husband Michael is also known as "Dad".We live in a rural & suburban area which is also close to some "big cities" and nice places to visit.We enjoy the fact that our town is not too big and quite friendly.We can easily get to Princeton (20 minutes by car.), Philadelphia (50 minutes by train or car) and New York City (1 hour 15 minutes by train or car).The ocean is also one hour away from our home by car.Our home has four bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.We have an open backyard with grass, swings and a playhouse.She loves to ride her bike and play with the children in our neighborhood.We have one small read fish named "Dorothy" which lives in Kelly's bedroom.She is learning to remember that Dorothy also needs to eat every day!Kelly is excited about starting 2nd grade in September.She is now one of the "big kids" as her school has grades k-2 only.Kelly enjoys going to a local farm and taking horseback riding lessons every week and taking care of her sheep each day after school.Our current au pair enjoys this adventure with her.Kelly is a happy girl with lots of questions, opinions, energy and joy!She loves to hug and be hugged.She loves to read books and to go to the local library with you.We are all very fond of books, movies and theater in our house.We love all kinds of music and adventure.We are looking forward to our year with you as a new adventure and a chance to learn about your family and your country!We hope to see you soon!
