My husband and I are parents of a 13-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old son.We live in a quiet suburb of Connecticut in a 3-level Colonial home.Both of the children love playing basketball and our son also plays soccer.In fact they love being involved in extra-curricular activities and are always excited to develop new hobbies.I would describe our daughter as sensitive and a little stubborn at times.Our son is a little more independent and loves playing outdoors- typical for his age!My husband is a Financial Business Analyst.He has to leave the house quite early, but he gets back at about 6.00pm in order to have time with the rest of the family.I work 4 days a week for an Insurance broker, and travel in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York.It's a really friendly community here in Monroe County and I'm sure our new au pair will fit in well.We've had several au pairs previously and enjoy the cultural exchange element that the Programme allows.There are great sports facilities in the area, including a swimming pool, tennis courts, soccer fields and a playground.We try to attend as many of the children's sporting events as possible.We go swimming and picnicking a lot in the warmer months.The picnicking is a great opportunity for all out friends to meet and catch up with what's going on in each other's lives.We are looking for an au pair who can oversee all the children's activities, playing, showering and making sure they keep their bedrooms and the bathroom clean, and transport them to their various activities.You'll also need to cook meals for the children from time to time.Both the children have left for school by 8.30 am and our daughter returns at 3.00pm.That means the au pair is free to enjoy the area and their free time for most of the day.Tillträde: Vintern -06 Ålder: 18 - 26 år.
