Au Pair/Connecticut.

My husband and I are parents of a beautiful, sweet daughter aged 6.We live in a beautiful home in Connecticut, a two-hour drive from Boston and New York.Currently we spend most of our time managing the family Real Estate business, which my father started 40 years ago.Although both of us work together on a full time basis, our schedules are quite flexible.We both strongly support intercultural exchange and we would very much like our daughter to be exposed to different cultures.We have had two previous au pairs from Australia and New Zealand and fortunately our daughter adjusted very will to the transition between her au pairs and we thoroughly enjoyed having them live with us and sharing our cultures and traditions with one another.My wife and myself had both had to opportunity to live with international families in Europe and believe such enriching experiences played an invaluable role in our personal and professional growth.We would much like to offer a foreign visitor such a rewarding experience with our family in America.Because of our experience in living in foreign lands, we share a deeper understanding of what a foreign national might experience living in a foreign environment and would like in some way to give back all of the wonderful things we gained living with families abroad.Although my husband and I work every day, we try to work from home at least one day a week so that we can spend some time with our daughter who attends school five days a week.We would hope that the au pair would consider herself as a member of the family and join us for meals and family activities whenever she wishes to do so.We also love restaurants and we often take the family out to dinner.We realise how important maintaining privacy is to a family and we would respect the au pairs need to spend time alone.When living with people it is important to maintain an open line of communication and to feel comfortable expressing ones opinions.We hope for an au pair that is open and honest and that will feel comfortable in communicating with us as a family.Since we only have one sweet child, the job would not be too demanding and the au pair would have ample time to enjoy life in America.Du får alltid eget boende, 2 veckors betald semester, $500-$1000 dollar i studiemedel beroende på au pairtjänst.Flygbiljett t & r om du arbetar ett år.Visum för 13 månader.13:e månaden kan du resa runt i USA på egen hand eller genom Track America.Vi har ett ombud på platsen där du bor, som hjälper dig till rätta i din vardag och presenterar dig för andra ungdomar i området.Tillträde: Våren -06 Ålder: 18 - 26 år. Skandinaviska Institutet ordnar visum för 13 månader.Intervju görs på följande orter: Stockholm, Malmö, Sölvesborg, Göteborg, Gävle, Umeå, Växjö, Örebro och Linköping.
