Au Pair/Cornwall, NY.

Our location is wonderful because you are close enough to travel to New York City to see things like Times Square on New Years Eve and the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, along with attractions such as Broadway, the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building ...and you are still far enough away to be safe and enjoy all the outdoor activities ( skiing, hiking, swimming) that our region is famous for, It's very beautiful here and I know you would love it!About us We are a relatively young family with two daughters.Sarah is our oldest daughter and she is almost 10 years old.She loves theater, reading, swimming and Pokemon!Clara is our youngest daughter and she also loves theater, arts and crafts, swimming and soccer and American Girl dolls!They are very friendly, smart, and loving girls and love everything they have learned from our past au pairs about their countries and cultures.They have learned to cook Brazilian food and how to sew South American dolls and they see our au pairs as their big sister!We have a very friendly ( but old!) dog named Zuzu and we have two new hamsters named Maxwell and Jigsaw, along with a parakeet and a fish.We live in a house overlooking the mountains and you have your own set of rooms and use of a car (which you would need when taking care of the girls, but you could also use at night and on the weekend for yourself).There is a very friendly group of au pairs who live nearby and they have all traveled together to Boston and Washington DC on the weekends, as well as going to local dance clubs and into New York City on the weekends.Your duties when working would be making breakfast and helping the girls get ready for school in the morning, helping them with homework when they get home in the afternoon, making dinner for them, helping them to keep their rooms and clothes clean and just being their friend!They love to do crafts with their aupairs and practice their soccer and swimming in nice weather.We are looking for an au pair who is warm, friendly, creative and energetic to be a part of our family and we can't wait to meet you and welcome you to our family!Du får alltid eget boende, 2 veckors betald semester, $500-$1000 dollar i studiemedel beroende på au pairtjänst.Flygbiljett t & r om du arbetar ett år.Visum för 13 månader.13:e månaden kan du resa runt i USA på egen hand eller genom Track America.Vi har ett ombud på platsen där du bor, som hjälper dig till rätta i din vardag och presenterar dig för andra ungdomar i området.Tillträde: Våren -06 Ålder: 18 - 26 år. Skandinaviska Institutet ordnar visum för 13 månader.Intervju görs på följande orter: Stockholm, Malmö, Sölvesborg, Göteborg, Gävle, Umeå, Växjö, Örebro och Linköping.
