Rosanna and I were married in 1996.We live in a suburb of Dallas, Texas.We have a son, Robert, born May 12, 1997, and a daughter, Kathy, born November 7, 1999.Robert is sensitive and somewhat cautious.He likes playing indoor games and playing on the computer.Kathy is sociable and dramatic.She likes dressing up and playing outdoors.They both like swimming in the pool, sometimes hours at a time.Most of the time, they play together very well.We are looking for a warm and loving person with an outgoing personality, a sense of humor and experience and interest in care of young children.The au pair should have mature judgment, the ability to communicate openly and an international driver's license.The au pair must be able to swim.Child CPR or first aid would be a plus.The responsibilities will include serving meals to the children, dressing them, tidying play areas and educational and recreation al activities.Generally, the hours generally will be 7:30 a.m.to 8:00 a.m.and 1:30 p.m.to 6:00 p.m.on the weekdays while school is in session.As our children grow up, we want them to be responsible and to have respect far others.Our house is a large home in a quiet residential neighborhood.We have an outdoor pool and spa.An upstairs bedroom with a TV and CD player is perfect for an au pair.We have three vehicles, so there is always a car available for the au pair to use.Our au pair will use our minivan to take the children to school and their activities.We have high-speed Internet access at home.Some folks say Dallas is where the East ends and nearby Fort Worth is where the West begins. Dallas features big-city shopping and entertainment.But, you don't have to be a cowgirl to enjoy historic Fort Worth (a/k/a "Cow town").If towns could talk, ours would just say "howdy." Except for the hot summer, our climate is quite moderate.We will encourage an au pair to travel with our family and take advantage of the educational, cultural and other benefits available in our area.You can take classes at nearby North Lake College.
