Au Pair/Del Mar, California.

We are expecting an addition to the family in late July, another girl.We are currently living in San Diego, California specifically Del Mar. This is one of the most beautiful and temperate places to live in the world.Our house is about one mile from the beach and we go there quite frequently.As a family, we like to spend time outdoors, playing ball, spending time at the playground, making castles in the sand and, just generally running around.Both Arnie and I are in Business Development for our companies, which are located on the East Coast.By education we both have engineering degrees.We are fortunate in that we have home offices and are able to work from home.As a result, we are able to enjoy spending time with the kids during the day and also assist the nanny/au-pair if needed.We do have to travel occasionally, but we schedule our trips so that only one of us is away from home at a given time.Our extended family (parents, siblings etc.) are located on the East Coast and as such we travel to visit them at least twice a year. Carrie is 2.5 years old.She is a precocious little girl with a large vocabulary.She is fluent in English and Hindi already and can speak both equally well.She loves to paint, play with play dough (clay), play hide and seek and help out Mom. She is planning or, starting pre-school this summer and expects to be very busy learning new things.Dario almost 1 year old.He is a curious little boy.He wants to be involved in everything that Carrie is doing and is totally fascinated by electronic gadgets - telephones, computers, remote control etc.He is crawling and cruising and will most like walk within a month or two.He is a very 'good' baby.He generally never cries and loves to eat.Despite his lack of teeth, he is able to eat almost everything we can!We are very much looking forward to having an Au-Pair be a part of our family.For us, it is important to have someone who can play and interact with the children so that they learn and develop.It would be great if the person is someone who enjoys getting down on their hands and knees and crawling around with the children.We would also like the au pair to be responsible for making sure that the kids are eating and drinking appropriately while they are taking care of them and just generally picking up after the kids.We believe that being part of our household will be a fun and rewarding experience.Our Geographic locale alone will be a bonus for an outdoor-minded au pair.Furthermore, the kids are a lot of fun and are learning something new everyday.Tillträde: Våren -08 Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Inga kostnader för flyg om du arbetar ett år som au pair.Visum för 13 månader.Försäkring ingår.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
