Below is information on family; our neighborhood and us.We met in 1990 and were married in the fall of 1992.We have a strong marriage and consider ourselves equals as well as best friends.In October of 2001, we adopted a baby boy named Elijah.We were able to bring him home from the hospital on the second day of his life.We were also able to bring him home on the second day of his life. Jacob is 44 years old, a college graduate, and works as an electrical engineer.He a loving and patient with children and loves to get on his hands and knees and get silly with kids.He enjoys sports, building things and playing the guitar.Grace is 44 years old, a college graduate, and works as an investment analyst.She is warm and considerate, intelligent, and a loving mother.She enjoys cooking, gardening, and reading.We enjoy cycling, skiing, golf, and travel.While we have been many places, our favorite vacation spot is in northern Michigan, where we spend at least one week in the summer.We live in a beautiful home on a tree-lined street in suburban Detroit, Michigan.Our home has a third floor with a bedroom and separate bath that we use as the au pair's residence.It has plenty of privacy with out being completely out of the family.Our neighborhood has a strong family and community feel and there are a lot of kids living near by.It is also walking distance to parks, schools, and a community center with pool.Less than one mile away is a vibrant downtown with shops, restaurants and coffee houses as well as a community college.This is an area that many young people enjoy.We are less than one half hour from downtown Detroit which offers concerts, opera, plays, museums, symphony and other cultural activities.Michigan is an excellent region for outdoor activities winter and summer.We are with in a few hours drive to excellent beaches, biking, camping, and skiing.Tillträde: Våren -08 Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Inga kostnader för flyg om du arbetar ett år som au pair.Visum för 13 månader.Försäkring ingår.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
