Dear Au Pair We have settled in the US 10 years ago, coming from France, when our eldest child was 2 months old. We intend to stay in the US for a long time and we have obtained permanent resident status. We maintain links with France, where our two families and some of our friends reside. We are bilingual French / English. We live in Greenwich, CT. We are 10 minutes away from a beautiful beach and 50 minutes away from New York City. Carol is the mother and is 40 years old. She started an international career management firm after 10 years in strategy consulting. carol has her office in the ground floor of the house and she travels to see her clients. She is actively involved in her community: board member of the school PTA, singer with a local choir, and involved in her alma mater alumni association. Carol is involved with the children's life on a day to day basis when she has the time between work and community assignments. Denni is the daughter and is 10 years old. She is in 5th grade. Her school hours are 8:15 AM until 3:30 PM. After school she does homework and in particular works on the French curriculum in language arts, and has daily assignments that she receives by mail. Denni is a very social girl. She enjoys music, dance and outdoor activities. She likes to see her friends. She plays the piano and the viola and is an advanced chorister. She practices music everyday. Rowan is the son and is 8 years old. He is in 3d grade. His hours are the same as and he also follows the French language art curriculum by mail. He has a sharp sense of humor and he likes hanging out with his neighbors (lots of boys around us)! He enjoys sports, and goes to soccer practice twice a week. He plays the piano and will start cello this year. He is also considering joining a choir. He practices music everyday. In the winter he gets very busy because he is an excellent skier and ice skater. We live in a contemporary 3-store house with 5 bedrooms, with a nice little shady backyard and an open front yard. Our house is located in a very quiet street with plenty of young families. There are plenty of children of Denni's and Rowan's age, and they are out together a lot after school during the nice days. Every summer the children go to France for one month. During this time we do not require childcare and this is a great extra time for our au pairs to travel or enjoy the summer locally. There is always a lot of music in the house. Robert and julian enjoy classical and jazz music. Denni and Rowan love to listen to music too! We live a few minutes away from a train station that will take you to New York City in 50 minutes. Many of our au pairs and nannies have enjoyed going to New York and taking advantage of all the resources there. Tillträde: Vintern -07 Ålder: 18 - 26 år.
