Dear Au Pair, We are the a family of four people, me, my husband and our two girls.We live in a town in New Jersey but very close to New York City, with many au pairs in the neighborhood.My husband is a carpenter and works at various locations as the jobs start and stop and I am a tax accountant working in New York.Our oldest girl, Nicole, is almost ten and is starting fifth grade in September.She is an energetic, happy, and thoughtful little girl.She has many friends and enjoys making new ones.She will strike up a conversation with anyone!She enjoys soccer, ballet, tap dance, cheerleading, basketball, and in the summer swimming.We have a pool in our backyard and the town swim club is at the end of our road, and they love to be there with their friends.Our youngest girl, Sarah, is six and is starting first grade in September.Sarah is very independent and will play with the group or entertain herself and be just as happy.She is quite possibly going to be the "class clown" because she is so funny and does things purposely to amuse the people around her.Sarah also enjoys, swimming, ballet, dancing, and playing dress-up, make-up and simply being outside.The girls go to a school called the Harrington Park School and is the only public school for all children grades.School hours are from 8:13am until 3:08pm for both of them, with occasional shortened sessions.They both have many activities after school throughout the year, as well as on weekends.A typical day for the girls begins around 7am, when they wake up and get dressed for school.After they have eaten breakfast and get ready for their day, they need to be driven to school around 8am.Some days there are after school activities.After school they come home, have a snack, do their homework, and then play outside with the neighbors, usually until dinner.We wish for an au pair to be like a big sister to them.We would like someone who will not only help them with their homework and take them to their activities, but a real family member who will enjoy their company and like to do things with them.We also view this as a great cultural exchange, and would like to understand about you and your country, family, and traditions as well.We feel that we have all greatly benefited from being in this program!We look very forward to speaking with you.Love The Marleys Tillträde: Våren -07 Ålder: 18 - 26 år.
