Au Pair/Honolulu, Hawaii

We live in Honolulu, in a neighbourhood, which is in a nice area near the beach and Kapiolani Park.Our house is two stories with a small garden in back.Because of the proximity of our house to the park and beach it is easy to spend time at either place in a safe and friendly environment.Both of us parents works.Brennan goes to school everyday from 8:00 am until 2:30 pm.We are an active family, trying to make the most out of each day without overdoing it and also realizing our limitations with two young children.We go to our country house about twice a month.Our country house is about 45 minutes away on the north shore of the island.There are several other families in our neighbourhood who have au pairs who get together on a regular basis.Both parents have grown up with Au pairs living in the house and have had good experiences with this sort of arrangement.Both parents understand the value of cross-cultural exchange.We are looking for an Au Pair with an extrovert personality, good communication skills and tidiness to be important.Responsibilities would include all those activities centred around the care of the children.Childcare, meal preparation, cleans up, grocery shopping and other errands as well as pick up of children from school.There are a number of aspects of life in our community, which would be available to our Au Pair.We live very close to a community college where an au pair could take classes.There are a number of different sports groups, which the Au Pair could join.Hawaii is rich in culture and has many ethnic backgrounds, which make it an interesting place to live.Tillträde: Hösten -08 Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Regelbundna Au Pairmöten i USA.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
