Au Pair/Lafayette, California

Hello!My name is Cadence and my husband, Evan, and I have been married for six years.We have two boys and a girl.We live in California in a small town called Lafayette will approximately 23,000 people.It's a quaint little town that feels woodsy and rural but is actually very close (about 15 miles} to San Francisco.There's even a train one mile from our house that will take you there. The famous California wine regions are also very accessible (45 minute drive) and have wonderful restaurants as well as wine tasting.And of course we do spend a lot of time in San Francisco visiting friends and going to museums, beaches, restaurants, and window-shopping.Besides devoting our time to our children, we have recently been busy working on our house.We just moved back in after completing a one-year remodel.Let me tell you a little bit more about the children.Alexander is a typical four-year-old.He is a man on the move.From morning until night he is busy coming up with things to play with and things to talk about. Elijah, our middle child, is also a wonderful little boy.I've always thought of him as a baby, but lately he seems like he has made the transition to little boy.He is very outgoing, has a great personality and loves being around other children. Taylor, the baby, is our newest addition to the family.With two older brothers, she doesn't get too much time by herself, but she seems very entertained just watching her brothers.She has been our easiest baby by far and it is nice to have another girl in the family.As I mentioned, our house is newly remodeled.We also have a new separate one-bedroom guesthouse with a full kitchen and bath located in the garden.This is where our new au pair will live.Our current au pair lives in the guesthouse and loves it.Living on her own offers her some privacy and a tranquil (away from the kids) place where she can relax and have friends over.We would still like our au pair to eat meals with the family and socialize with us as often as possible even though she will have her own place.It is very difficult to convey everything we would like someone to know about our family, our area, and our needs in this essay.I feel like I've just touched on each area briefly, but I'd like to end my saying that we are good, easy-going, friendly people who like to have fun with our kids.Our children mean the world to us!And in return for quality loving childcare, we would do everything we could to ensure that an au pair in our home would have a positive experience that she'd remember for a lifetime.Tillträde: Hösten -08 Fri resa och sjukförsäkring ingår (värde 5800:-) om du har en komplett ansökan före den 31 juli 2008.Gäller vid avresa till USA under 2008.Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Regelbundna Au Pairmöten i USA.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
