Au Pair/Long Island, New York.

We are very excited about welcoming an au pair into our home and family.While we are looking forward to the extra help, we also see it as an opportunity to share some of our culture and learn more about our au pair's.I work during the week and travel to different cities for business about once a month.Jonna also worked in New York City as I do but now stays home to care for the children.We have been married for five years.About two years after we met, we got married.Later that same year, we bought a home in a great harbor town and we really enjoy all it has to offer.The town is on the water, has great restaurants and shops, community parks and beaches, movie theaters and more.With the arrival of the twins pending, we moved into a new home which is much bigger and more comfortable for everyone.We are an active family and in the summer we like to do some boating and head to the beaches nearby and out East since both our parents have homes there.Our needs are changing subtly each week as the twins get older and start to establish some decent blocks of sleep (thankfully!).They were both born over seven pounds and have grown like weeds!They eat well and have distinct personalities.Our two-year old daughter is a sweet, kind, funny little person.She's well behaved and takes her naps in the afternoon for a couple of hours.Quinn loves to be outside, to read, draw and breaks out in song and dance whenever she hears a song she likes.Our busiest time of day is dinnertime.At that point, between 6:OOpm and 8:OOpm, is when the twins need baths, everyone needs to eat and all three usually go down to sleep.We have managed to make it work, passing little people around and making sure we keep the routine on track but this a part of the day where we could definitely use a little help!We live on the North Shore of Long Island and it has its own train line.It is a 35-minute trip to New York City, which is considered very short relative to other New York suburbs.It is a very safe, convenient town and its proximity to New York makes it easy to take advantage of all the city has to offer.We are proud to have a warm, loving family and home.We try very hard to balance, work, play and time for relaxation.Despite the demands of work and our children, we are doing a pretty good job of it.We feel certain whomever we ultimately match up with will feel at home and enjoy their time among our family and community.We look forward to welcoming an au pair into our home!Tillträde: Hösten -07 Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Inga kostnader för flyg om du arbetar ett år som au pair.Visum för 13 månader.Försäkring ingår.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
