Au Pair/Malibu, California

Dear Au Pair, We have been involved in the Au pair cultural exchange program for 14 years.We have found it to be a very rewarding experience as we have made many friends over the years.We continue to keep in touch with our former Au pairs and their families and have visited some of them.David and I are also honorary godparents for the son of another.The program has been helpful in introducing our children to other cultures and customs as well.Both of them keep busy and have many interests.Joseph is in 9th grade, which is his first year of high school.Angela is in 6th grade, plays flute in the band and practices Karate.Her greatest love is Gymnastics; she has practice 2 to 3 days each week.She also enjoys horseback riding and hopes to start jumping this year. We live in Malibu, California.We built our home 7 years ago and have an outdoor swimming pool and hot tub.This is why it is important that our Au pair likes to swim.Our Au pair has their own bedroom and bathroom; we also have a recreation room on our lower level for entertaining.Many of our vacations are spent at our condominium in Florida-our Au pair may accompany us on some of these trips.My father has a home in northern Wisconsin by a -lake where we like to travel in summer and winter.We go boating, fishing, tubing and waterskiing in summer and snowmobiling and skiing in winter.Our primary rule for our Au pair is to please respect our children and treat them as well as you expect to be treated.We also ask that you take care of our home and belongings as though they are your own.We have a midnight curfew on nights when you are working the next morning.We do enjoy and welcome family members to visit during your year here.I believe that we offer a fun and rewarding experience to any Au pair who chooses to become a part of out family for a year.Tillträde: Sommaren -09 Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Regelbundna Au Pairmöten i USA.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
