George has been a Music Producer for more than 20 years and works on a project basis.Linda is not working at the moment, but is very active with Outward Bound USA, a non-profit organization.Our son Glenn is 3.He loves to play games, swim, and paint.Suze is 1 1/2 and beginning to talk.She loves to ride on swings and play with her mommy's shoes.Our cat India is lovable and tame.Carolyn is 13 and visits us on some weekends and vacations.Manchester MA is a beautiful town on the ocean, 30 miles north of Boston.There is a train to Boston that takes 45 minutes.We have friends that had an au pair from Au Pair in America and she made friends with several other au pairs in nearby towns, and they would often spend their days off together in Boston, which is a city rich in history and culture.We like to travel, for vacation as well as to visit our families.As our children grow up, we intend to expose them to many cultures so that they may learn that there are different traditions and ways of living in this world.Linda lived in Mexico City, and speaks Spanish.We are interested in having an au pair as part of our family for a number of reasons.First, it is a wonderful way to expose kids to another culture and language.We like the flexibility that comes with having an au pair to help us with our daily lives, as well as having someone who can travel with us.We had an au pair from Brazil with us last year and it was a great experience.We have just moved to our home in Massachusetts from New York City.We are renting, while we look for a house to buy.We still have our apartment in New York and will travel there occasionally to visit.We also like to spend time with Linda's family in New Hampshire in the summers, on Lake Winnepesaukee, which is a beautiful lake/mountain region about 2 hours away.We may also want the au pair to accompany us on trips outside of the US.I think that many of the young people who are interested in spending a year as an au pair would see this travel as a benefit, as a way to have a richer experience during their time abroad.Our daily routine will be that the kids will go to school in the mornings, and the au pair will work most days in the afternoons through dinnertime.Some nights (maybe 1 or 2 per week) we will need the au pair to work at night.
