We have had seven very successful years with Au Pairs and we are looking forward to continuing the adventure.Before we introduce our family, we need to mention that we are relocating to Portland Oregon, on the Northwest coast of the United States.This relocation will happen prior to your arrival, but you will be a part of our getting to know a new place.In fact, we'll all be getting used to new surroundings. He is a sensitive, loving little guy.He keeps himself busy reading and creating with Lego's.Sandra turned nine in January, She is happy, silly and self-assured.She holds her own, and can be a tiger at the playground quickly transforming into an angel before you eyes.Ian and I our outgoing, friendly and robust.The kids are much the same.Our goal for the children is to become caring, responsible, thoughtful human beings.Childhood is a magical time and little people can never have too much love or positive reinforcement.Discipline has its place and the kids are quite familiar with "time outs".Sometimes they run to their rooms for quite reading time before they're asked, I guess that is the conscience developing.With the right guidance and motivation the kids can reach the moon and stars.We try to instill a sense of confidence, discovery and curiosity.Au Pair's intrigue us for their sense of discovery and adventure.We are interested in a person who truly enjoys children and is clear on the patience that childcare requires.
