We emigrated from Ireland in 1988 and we now live in a wonderful town in Michigan close to the Great Lakes.We have three very energetic and active daughters aged thirteen, eight and six.I am a doctor and my wife is a nurse and takes care of patients in a Hospice.Having an au pair stay with us is very exciting to us all.As a family we have travelled quite a bit and we are used to different cultures and meeting new people.In the past we have hosted many exchange students, attending the University and we enjoy the cultural exchange that takes place by dong this.Having an au pair will be slightly different as to having an exchange student, but we are well aware of the difficulties that occur when one is away from your family and friends and would be able to support our au pair in that way.As a family we enjoy doing things together.We love hiking, biking, swimming, canoeing, boating and horse riding.We love the outdoors, but we also enjoy winter sports like skiing and ice-skating.We would welcome our au pair to our family and we will do our best to make her feel at home.Not only will it be a rewarding experience for the au pair, but just as rewarding for us as a family.Du får alltid eget boende, 2 veckors betald semester, $500-$1000 dollar i studiemedel beroende på au pairtjänst.Flygbiljett t & r om du arbetar ett år.Visum för 13 månader.13:e månaden kan du resa runt i USA på egen hand eller genom Track America.Vi har ett ombud på platsen där du bor, som hjälper dig till rätta i din vardag och presenterar dig för andra ungdomar i området.Tillträde: Vintern -06 Ålder: 18 - 26 år. Skandinaviska Institutet ordnar visum för 13 månader.Intervju görs på följande orter: Stockholm, Malmö, Göteborg, Kalmar, Gävle, Umeå, Växjö, Örebro, Sundsvall och Linköping.
