Grant 39, who was born in Oklahoma, comes from a family of three children.When he was 4, Grant's family moved to Mill Valley, California.I was born in Cannes, France in 1968 and have one older brother.My family moved to Virginia Beach, Virginia when I was 10.Grant received his bachelor's degree in Rhetoric from the University of California at Berkeley.I received my bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Virginia and then spent an additional year studying at the College of Europe in Belgium.Grant and I met in 1993 in Philadelphia while we were attending business school at the University of Pennsylvania.After graduation, we moved to New York City where we lived for two years before deciding to move to Mill Valley, California, home for Grant and one of the most beautiful places I have ever lived.We are happily married since 1998.We have two children.Chris, 1.5 years old is a very happy and adventurous boy.He has just started walking, and is enjoying discovering a whole new world.He sleeps well, he is a wonderful eater, and loves to do anything his brother does.Eric (4) is excited to have a new younger brother, and has been extremely sweet and loving towards him.Eric is an absolute joy to be with and quickly charms anyone he meets. Mill Valley, California is a suburb about 15 minutes north of San Francisco.It lies at the foot of beautiful Mt.Tamalpais.Which is the birthplace of mountain biking, Mill Valley is a beautiful little town that is sleepy on the weekdays, and bustling with mountain bikers, hikers and outdoor enthusiasts on the weekends.We live about a 10-minute drive from town.We would like to see the au pair as a member of our family, and we want to find an au pair who wants to be part of our family.We are friendly, sharing people and we hope to find an au pair who enjoys our company.Of course, the au pair will have friends and activities of its own, but we would like the au pair to share weeknight dinners with us often and spend some casual time with us telling us about the au pairs country, customs, goals, plans, etc.We imagine that the important qualities of the ideal au pair-host family relationship are flexibility, a respect for the idea that the au pair is a member of the family, clear communication, our respect for the au pair's goals, the an pair's respect for our family's way-of-life and child-rearing beliefs, realistic expectations of the job, honesty and openness and trust.Tillträde: Våren -08 Ålder: 18 - 26 år.
