Arbetsbeskrivning

Family Life and Activities We are a close, loving and active family. The children are our highest priority and the center of our lives. They are young right now and accordingly, require a lot of care and attention, so we are very busy these days.Even with our hectic schedule, though, we try to maintain perspective and a sense of humor. We spend almost all of our free time with the kids, and like to take them outside as much as possible to the park, the pool, in the yard, riding bikes, on picnics, flying kites, etc.We also love to get out and experience new things like museums, train rides and amusement parks. We love to visit relatives in Chicago, and to go to family homes in Florida and Wisconsin.Chris is a "morning person" and is perpetually happy, bubbly and bursting with energy. He was diagnosed with learning disabilities when he was very young, and he has received speech and other therapies to address these issues. He is doing beautifully in his therapy and is now age appropriate with nearly all skills. He is very bright (not mentally impaired), and has no behavioral issues of any kind (and in fact tantrums and fusses less than any other 4 year old we know). He will attend a regular kindergarten in the Fall.Belinda is more cerebral and artistic, enjoying arts and crafts, singing, ballet, the computer, board games, jump rope and playing with her friends. She is at such a fun age right now-very enthusiastic, curious, bright and full of life. Both kids are athletic and enjoy being outside and going to the park. They both are also quite social (Chris can be a little shy at first), and have a warm, loving, fun relationship with our current au pair.In September, both children will attend full day school programs 5 days a week. Both children maybe enrolled in other classes as well, such as violin, ballet, gymnastics, karate, swimming, which they may or may not attend with the au pair, depending on scheduling. We have a 4 bedroom American colonial-style house on 4 wooded acres in a suburban area of New Jersey, about an hour west of Manhattan (middle class-neither wealthy nor lower class). We live on a cul-de-sac street with 3 other houses. The area is quaint, pretty and quiet. There are many au pairs working in the area (including at the homes of two of our neighbors), and our home is about a 10 minute drive from Morristown (though we have a Morristown mailing address, we actually live in Mendham Township), which has a substantial downtown area containing shops, a movie theatre, several restaurants, and a sizeable commercial district.Morristown also has a train station with service to New York City. Our current au pair visits New York often, and many of the au pairs in the area take weekend trips to Boston, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, D.C., which are all easily accessible.Tillträde: Vintern -07 Ålder: 18 - 26 år.
