Au Pair/Morristown, NJ

Susan and I have been married for 9 years: We are both from NJ originally, and after moving around for some time, we both ended up back here.Susan is a veterinarian and opened her own practice in March 1996 and is doing extremely well.She recently went back to school to learn veterinary acupuncture.We both work very hard, but are home quite often to spend time with Nina.Lately, however, our travel schedules have begun to pick up and we are in need of some help.Recently, my job has required me going to Europe along with other domestic travel for up to 5 days at a time. When we are not at work we enjoying being outdoors.We enjoy visiting Vermont (where we have a ski home in the mountains) year round which is about 3.5 hours by car.We ski in the winter and find many other activities in the spring/summer.In NJ, we like to work outside, play golf, bicycle and enjoy each other's company.We are also very dedicated in helping Nina's education. Nina is very independent.She knows what she wants and usually it is what she needs.She is very able to clean herself (shower or bath) with supervision, pick out clothes and get dressed, and gather needed items for school.She goes to school everyday during the week (8:I5 to 3:40) by taking the bus.She is very good friends with the next door neighbor (who also has an au pair) and they play very well together.Nina loves school.We have received very favorable feedback from her teachers when she was in preschool and various summer camps.She is very interested in being involved in more organized sports (soccer, karate, T Ball), but it is very challenging to commit to getting her to the activities timely due to our work schedules.An au pair who can drive her and keep her schedule would be a huge help.When she is not in school she is either playing with the neighbors, spending time with her Grandmother, or with us.She is a true joy.Nina has had exposure to other cultures.Her preschool was very diverse and had many children from different countries.She also spent an entire school year learning about China.She became friends with children from China; Israel, and the UK.She really enjoys it there.Morristown, It is a great little town with lots of restaurants and stores.There is a train station with direct trains into NYC (45 minute train ride).Morristown has become a very young town with many people commuting daily into NYC.There is also something to do in the evening.We are a member of a community pool about one mile away.Tillträde: Hösten -08 Fri resa och sjukförsäkring ingår (värde 5800:-) om du har en komplett ansökan före den 31 juli 2008.Gäller vid avresa till USA under 2008.Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Regelbundna Au Pairmöten i USA.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
