Au Pair/New Canaan, CT.

Hello there!We are the Smith family.We live in New Canaan, Ct, which is about 40 miles outside of New York City.We also have 3 Labrador Retrievers, Snickers, Colby and Olive and a Guinea Pig named Ginger.We just had a wonderful nanny from Au Pair in America.During her year here she really became like a part of our family.Her responsibilities were to help me get the children off to school in the mornings, then make their beds and tidy their rooms.The children go to a private school, which is in Greenwich, CT.It is about 20 minutes away from our home.I spend a lot of time driving the kids back and forth and it is nice to not always have to take everyone with me.Sam will also be going there in September.Amy takes horseback riding and jazz dance and piano.She is a very sweet 9 year old who loves to read, write, listen to music, make up dances and plays for her brothers and she to perform.Sam is a lively 7 year old red headed boy who loves all sports.He plays tennis, soccer, baseball, and lacrosse and also takes piano lesson (Thank goodness not all at once).Axel is the little brother who is coming into his own.He loves to draw and do projects and try to keep up with Sam.We are a very casual family.We usually vacation either somewhere warm or go skiing.During the summer we have a home on Nantucket island which is outside of Massachusetts.We are there from June through August.While in Nantucket we bike, roller blade, play tennis, have lemonade stands and mostly go to the beach.It is one of the most beautiful places and we always have a wonderful summer.The Au Pair must be comfortable around animals since we have three dogs that are a big part of our family.We are looking for and Au Pair who genuinely loves children.Who will get down on the floor and play games with them, make up plays with them, runs around and is active with them and who will be their friend.We are not looking for someone who just wants to come to America to go out partying and for a good time.We are looking for a responsible but fun girl.We want you to enjoy your experience and we will do all we can to help you do that.We want to a have a mutual respectful and honest relationship.Mostly we want to know are children are safe and in good hands with our nanny.We look forward to talking with you about this position... Skandinaviska Institutet ordnar visum för 13 månader.Intervju görs på följande orter: Stockholm, Malmö, Sölvesborg, Göteborg, Gävle, Umeå, Växjö, Örebro och Linköping.
