Au Pair/New Haven, CT.

We are a very warm family who look forward to welcoming another Au Pair to join us for the coming year.We live in a turn-of-the-century renovated Victorian house in the medium-sized city of New Haven, a short walk to world-renowned Yale University.We are also within walking distance to neighborhood parks, museums, stores and restaurants.The proximity to Yale and downtown New Haven gives us access to many cultural events such as concerts, festivals and parades in town.New York City, Cape Cod and Boston are a short two-hour train ride away.Joshua is a Director at an investment bank in New York City.He has worked previously as an architect, and likes to work on projects around the house, whenever time allows.Paige is an investment manager who graduated from Yale University.We enjoy cooking, gardening and playing the piano.Jacob is a bright, ten-year-old who likes soccer, reading and playing the piano and the clarinet.Elijah is a sweet, easy-going child who is intellectual and cheerful.Like Jacob, he is interested in soccer, reading, playing the piano and the violin.We would like to have an Au Pair come to live with us because, as a two-parent working family, we realize that we could use some help in raising our children at home on a day-to-day basis.Both of us come from large families and recognize the importance of having other people around, enriching our children's lives.We have had good experiences with, and stay in touch with all of our previous Au Pairs to this day.We therefore feel comfortable with accommodating an Au Pair in our household.We expect an Au Pair to be an integral part of our family, but we also hope that she be independent enough to establish her own network of friends and associates.Once we are home, or while the children are in school, the Au Pair is free to do as she wishes.We belong to a racquet and swim club with a 24-hour fitness facility, and the Au Pair will have access to this as she pleases.Upon returning home every night, we expect to take over child rearing, which includes feeding the kids dinner, bathing them and putting them to bed. The Au Pair will have a great deal of privacy in our house.She will have her own room off a large library/living room area on the third floor.There is a second bedroom on the third floor for guests, which shares this space and a bath.During fair weather, there is a deck overlooking the street off the second floor and a landscaped patio and garden in the backyard.We hope to make our prospective guest welcome in our home and our community.We look forward to meeting her!Du får alltid eget boende, 2 veckors betald semester, $500-$1000 dollar i studiemedel beroende på au pairtjänst.Flygbiljett t & r om du arbetar ett år.Visum för 13 månader.13:e månaden kan du resa runt i USA på egen hand eller genom Track America.Vi har ett ombud på platsen där du bor, som hjälper dig till rätta i din vardag och presenterar dig för andra ungdomar i området.Tillträde: Sommaren -06 Ålder: 18 - 26 år.
