Au Pair/New Hyde Park, New York.

There's myself, Mom (Barbara), and 3 boys, and one bunny rabbit.The rabbit usually stays in the cage, but sometimes we take him for a walk.I am divorced, and the boy's father lives out-of-state.Rick is going into 8th grade and attends the junior/senior high school (grades 7 through 12).The 2 younger boys attend the elementary school.All three can walk to their schools.We live in New Hyde Park, which is about 15 miles outside of Manhattan.Mom works in Manhattan, and travels there each day by railroad.The boys are good students.In the spring, the boys play on baseball teams.This is our second year with an au pair.Kelly, our current au pair, is from England.Since we live so close to Manhattan she takes the railroad to Manhattan to see a movie, shop or just sightsee.She has had some friends from England come to visit her, and they have stayed in our home.It's a great opportunity to be able to visit NY, but not have to stay at a hotel.Our au pair is always welcomed to our family parties.We always have a get together for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter.He takes special classes during school hours to improve his speech.His speech is understandable most of the time, but sometimes we have to ask him to repeat himself.When we cannot understand him, he always finds a different word or phrase to help us know what he is trying to say.John will need help with his homework each day.The older boys need supervision also with their schoolwork, but mainly it's making sure they spend time doing all the homework and projects.You will work Monday through Friday.Waking up about 7am, then waking up the boys, get their lunch made for school, and walk the 2 younger ones to school.Their school starts at 9:15am.Then return to the house and clean up their room, make their beds, and do their wash.The middle of the day is your own time.This year all the boys finished school at 3:30.Rick arrives home about 2:30pm, but he walks home himself.He can be left alone while you meet the other boys at school.The boys should be fed dinner.I return home at 7pm.We have had a great experience this year with Kelly, and I know she feels like part of our family.I hope you will feel the same!Tillträde: Sommaren -08 Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Inga kostnader för flyg om du arbetar ett år som au pair.Visum för 13 månader.Försäkring ingår.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
