Au Pair/New Jersey.

Chaotic.Warm.Friendly, Noisy .Ours is not your typical household.Over the years, there have been hamsters.gerbils, iguanas, birds.We are currently nursing a deer mouse that are wire insulation and is crippled as a result.And we are adopting a puppy in the fall.In fact, he is our regular Wee-end babysitter on the very rare occasions we go out without our family.He is entering 10th grade (second-- in French), and can be a good student when he wants to.Our eldest daughter, Elisabeth, is a precocious 12 years old with an intensity that we find both energizing and exhausting.She is entering 7th grade and is responsible with her homework, though she has to be reminded at times. Our youngest daughter, Kate, is 9 years old, is a child with a huge heart and a mordant wit.She cries and laughs at the drop of a hat.She will defend her brother and sister if they are in trouble, and offer them what she has if they want it.Our youngest son, Marcus, 7 years old, is a very bright, rambunctious little boy.We are attentive and devoted parents and we love nothing more than our children.They are all loving and warm, and welcome our au pairs in our home and in their hearts.We are a family living in central New Jersey about an hour away from New York City.I am a high school math teacher.I am a former engineer also and I switched to teaching because I wanted to be able to spend more time with my children.So far it has been great.I am off all summers and enjoy my kids. We are originally from Greece.I came here 9 years ago.We are American citizens and we all speak English.Two years ago we got an Au pair from Georgia.She was like a sister to me and I love her dearly.My kids love her too.She stayed with us for 2.5 years.It was such a wonderful experience that we decided to do it again.My daughter, Parizaad, will turn 7 in December and Arshia, My son, turned 4 in May.They both go to school 5 days a week from 8:30am to 2:00pm. Arshia is Autistic.He goes to school for autistic children.Fortunately he does not have any behavioral problems.His only problem is that he doesn't speak yet.The work hours for our Au pair will be from 6:30am till 8:30am and 2:00pm - 6:00 pm Monday thru Friday.Weekends will be off.We look at our au pair as a member of the family and we look forward to a wonderful year and a long lasting friendship.Tillträde: Våren -07 Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Inga kostnader för flyg om du arbetar ett år som au pair.Visum för 13 månader.Försäkring ingår.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
