Hello from New Jersey.We live in a small town og about 4000 homes located approximately 18 miles from Manhattan - a thirty minutes bus ride.Our house sits on an acre of land on a quiet street, was built in the late 1950's, we've lived here for about ten years.In the summer you can barely see cur neighbor's homes.We have a five-bedroom house with a lovely in-ground, heated swimming pool and a huge trampoline in the back yard.Richard is eleven - a hard working guy, a good artist who loves to ski, swim, draw and who is also doing well in his school work.He's mad about Nintendo and all video games and loves 'Yu-Gi-Oh!.Like Caterina he, too, is at 'sleep-away' camp for four weeks in Pennsylvania.Tobias is the youngest - our baby!He is now nine therefore a third-grader.He loves school and has made heaps of friends this year.He likes inventing things and is crazy about anything that flies.His latest achievement has been learning to ride a bike, something he has stalwartly resisted until, that was, we bribed him with the prize of something he really wanted.A video camera.we now have to be very careful what we say or before you know it, it's on film!All the children attend our local public school in town which is about two miles away.Our au pair will have a nice large bedroom - which has a spare bed for a guest, Cable TV/VCR/DVC and its own bathroom and easy access to fast speed cable internet.Our au pair usually has the use of one of our cars - and in our area there are plenty o= other au-pairs to visit when not working.Our au-pair will have her own phone line and cell phone.As a family we like swimming, hiking, camping, cooking and music.We are looking forward to meeting our new au-pair and who knows?You might be the next person for our children's au-pair!
