Au Pair/New Jersey.

We think the qualities that are important in the relationship between us and our au pair is mutual respect, honesty, trust and open communication. We want our au pair to be able to talk to us about anything, and to have a good experience living abroad with our family. I am a tax consultant and my husband has his Master in Tax. Our two daughters, aged 9 and 6, are fun loving and active young girls. They both attend the local school and are involved in after school activities and sport. Both girls are Brownie's and they take Karate and pottery classes during the week. We used to live in Brazil for three years and we loved living abroad. We can therefore relate to adjusting to a new country and very different culture and would be able to help our new au pair to adapt to her new life in America. Living in New Jersey, it would be very easy for our au pair to commute to the Big Apple and to meet up with other au pairs and friends in the area.
