Au Pair/New York

We are fun, loving family.We enjoy food, music, art, sports, games, reading, travel and movies.We are curious and love learning new things.We live in a spacious 5 bedroom house on a quiet one way street.We are a ten minute walk to the elementary school and the town pool.There are public sidewalks and its a 15 minute walk to town.Two great pizzerias, a wonderful bookstore and a lovely library are 6n town.We are a 40-minute train ride or car ride to midtown Manhattan and a1ll of its cultural and leisure activities.We are 5-20 minutes from colleges and shopping in Westchester County.We are a blended family, I am a psychiatrist and I work in Manhattan.I work full time, with some afternoon time off, the child you will take care of is my son.He is seven and going into 2nd grade.He is very curious, very active and quite musical.He loves music - rock and roll (the Beetles and Santana are his favorites) and classical melodies.He rides his bike, climbs trees, loves arts & crafts, building/science and gymnastics.His dad is a teacher.He teaches high school Social Studies in Dobbs Ferry, 5 minutes from our house.He lives in Rye Brook, 25 minutes away.He sees our son on Monday evenings (at my house), on Thursday evenings {at his house} and part of each weekend.He is a musician by hobby.He plays the piano and sings.My husband and I married on New Year's Day.He is a lawyer and works in Connecticut.He fills our home with fun, great food, and music.His children are with us every other weekend and for vacations.The rest of the time they live in New Jersey with their mom. It is not your, job to take care of them.The boy is 13 and interested in computers, TV and sports.The girl is curious about new things and is funny.Is 10 and she plays soccer, baseball and art.She is warm, friendly and also interested in new things.We are a family that loves to learn about new foods, new traditions and new people.I would like an au pair to be part of our household.That means helping my son to school, picking him up and playing with him until I get home, and taking him to activities.It also means starting homework or doing special projects.We all help shop, cook, clean and care for our home.Tillträde: Sommaren/Hösten Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Inga kostnader för flyg om du arbetar ett år som au pair.Visum för 13 månader.Försäkring ingår.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
