Au Pair/New York.

Before we started a family, my husband and I studied economics and travelled extensively.From each course that we took, each country that we visited and each person that we met, we learned something valuable that has influenced how we conduct our lives.We would like to pass that appreciation of the world and its people onto our children.Our family has an international composition through adoption. Our twin sons were adopted from Hungary at the age of 5 months and they're absolutely wonderful.My husband is an Economist and I am currently a homemaker.Since the boys arrived, I have stayed home with them but seeing that they'll be attending pre-school, I'll be going back to work full-time as an accountant.Our goals for our children have always been and always will be that they be the best person that they can be and that they fully utilize the talents they have been given - always try your best.We live in a small town north of New York City.As a family we like to go hiking, swimming, ice-skating and cycling.We love doing things together as a family.Respect, patience and understanding are the qualities that are needed to make this host family / au pair relationship work.We look forward to having an au pair as a member of our family for a year and it would be a wonderful way to assist us in opening the world to our children in a very tangible way.
