Au Pair/New York

Hello, There are four members of the Johnson Family.Liam is the father and he works for a Newspaper Company.He's worked there for eight years and he is responsible for all of the technology (like computers, software and satellites) that gets the news from reporters around the world to the newspapers in the United States. My name is Aniela and I'm the mother.I am the more serious one in the family.I am most relaxed when the children are taken care of and the household is running smoothly.I spend my time organizing the household and making the rules.If you want to know how something should be done, just ask me.Besides running the household, I work fulltime in the Fashion Industry.Daniel is in a Spanish/ English program at the public school called CILA.He has been studying Spanish for three years.He is the reason that we always ask for a Spanish-speaking au pair.We need someone to speak Spanish with him at our house and to help him with his homework. Ashley is very loving.Once she makes friends with you she always wants to give you a hug, play games with you or sit in your lap.She likes to do everything that her big brother does and she mostly prefers "boy" things.Ashley will be starting kindergarten in September.She will either be in school all day from 9am -3 pm like her brother or she'll be in the half-day kindergarten 9am-11:30am and after-school program - 12-3pm. This will be our second year in the Au Pair in America program.We presently have an au pair from Costa Rica.We are clear that in order to have a good experience there must be constant communication and a good understanding of the house rules.We live 30 minutes from New York City.Our current au pair has found it easy to meet many friends.They go to the health club together.They hang out on the weekends together and go into Manhattan (NYC) together.There are many recreations in the area like movies, ice-skating, bowling and dancing.Our au pair gets picked up almost every night by her friends to go on an activity after work.Our current au pair will be going on holiday to Arizona at the same time that we are to see Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon.All in all, I think that we are a very easygoing family.We look forward to sharing the American cultural experience with our au pair as well as learning many things about our au pairs culture We look forward to meeting you, Tillträde: Vintern/våren -09 Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Regelbundna Au Pairmöten i USA.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
