Au Pair/New York

I own my own company and work out of my house.My husband works with me, as well.I travel several times during the year, my husband travels a lot more.My children love to play outdoors and I encourage that I limit the amount of TV they watch and time spent on the computer.Samuel will be in 3rd grade in the fall and Emil, will be in the first grade.They leave the house at 7:45 AM and come home at 3:45 PM.Samuel and Emil both do Gymnastics, Karate and will be doing Soccer this spring.They both have religion class one day a week during the school year.My children love doing arts and crafts also.I need someone who will keep my children occupied and interested.I need someone who is creative and will have good ideas for new projects.They love playing board games (Scrabble, monopoly etc) ball games (Soccer, kickball, baseball), swimming in.the summer, playing with trucks and cars, card games, reading and coloring.They are very active.I do Yoga 2-3 times a week and jog on my treadmill several times a week.My husband plays ice hockey in the morning and exercises in the evening.We are very active and want our children being active as well.In the winter we go skiing.We have a 5 bedroom home and our au pair has her own room with a private bath and TV.We have a computer with a video cam that has access to the Internet for our au pair to email family and friends and surf the web.You are expected to treat our home the way you treat your own home- with care and respect.You would be expected to help out with some of the household chores. We live in a nice area with a great shopping mall 25 minutes away, as well as many smaller shopping malls 10-15 minutes away.We are 30 minutes from Manhattan.We have enjoyed our experiences with the au pairs we have had.Our first au pair was from Spain - the kids enjoyed learning about Spain, the food, their customs, etc.Our Au pair had gotten along well with both our boys and it was sad to see her go.She really had become one of our family.We still keep in touch with her.Our Second Au pair is from Brazil.She too has been wonderful with the kids.They will miss her deeply.We hope to find an au pair who will want to become part of our family and who enjoys being around children.Tillträde: Sommaren -09 Eget boende, betald semester.Studiemedel 500-1000 dollar.Inga kostnader för flyg om du arbetar ett år som au pair.Visum för 13 månader.Försäkring ingår.Hemreseskydd vid allvarlig familjesituation.4 dagars kurs i NY innan ankomst till familjen.Vi gör regelbundna intervjuer på orter runt om i Sverige.
