Au Pair/New York area.

My family is comprised of six of us, five children and me, Dad!My eldest daughter is away at university so is rarely home, but my other daughter aged 18 and my three sons aged 16, 12 and 10 are all in school.My goal is to raise the children to be happy and productive adults with a deep respect for family and I hope the au pair would help provide the guidance and nurturing to encourage this.The children have very hectic lives, participating in many activities and the two eldest have part time jobs.We do however always make the effort to come together regularly as a family for example to attend church or sporting events. I do not expect the au pair to be responsible for the teenagers, her primary activity will be to care for my two younger boys mostly between 3:00 and 8:00pm on school days and also some care on the weekends.During this time, I would expect her to supervise them in keeping their room tidy and doing their homework, preparing snacks and taking them to their activities.We are interested in an international au pair because she would have experiences and traditions that the boys would love hearing about and it would be wonderful if they could learn something of another language.We live in a town situated on a sixteen-mile lake in Western New York.Down town is within easy walking distance and because of summer tourism there are numerous restaurants and shops.Our community offers many outdoor activities and being a small town, it is also very easy to meet people. Skandinaviska Institutet ordnar visum för 13 månader.Intervju görs på följande orter: Stockholm, Malmö, Sölvesborg, Göteborg, Gävle, Umeå, Växjö, Örebro och Linköping.
