Au Pair/Newton, MA.

I was born in Chicago, Illinois and currently work as a doctor.My husband was born in Zurich, Switzerland and works in computers.In the house we speak English.We are very excited to have an Au Pair.We think it would be a lot of fun and add to the cultural experience of our family.I had an Au Pair from Liechtenstein when I was a child and still have wonderful memories.We live in Newton, Massachusetts.We are about 15 minutes from Boston where there are many wonderful universities, museums, theaters, restaurants and other cultural activities.Our home is walking distance to shops, a library, a wonderful park with tennis courts, and a lake for swimming.We are also walking distance to Boston College.We are close to both the subway and to buses.Maria will be 11 in June.She is a very serious student.She is very independent.She plays the violin and also enjoys art and writing.She sometimes feels outnumbered being the only girl.She would love to have an "older sister" in the house.John is an avid reader.He is an expert in all sorts of trivia.He is 9 years old.He loves computer games and plays the piano.His favorite sports are baseball (he loves going to the Red Sox games) and skiing.Steve will be 7 on March 22.He is the clown of the family.He is very social.He recently started playing the guitar.He also loves to ski.Willy will be 4 in April.He is the baby of the family.He is very sweet and still likes to cuddle.He loves to sing and tell jokes.He gets upset when he is not included in the activities of the older kids.A couple of things you should know about our house.The three older kids will be in school until 3:00.Willy will still be in daycare.You will be responsible for taking care of the older kids from 3-6 on Monday through Thursday.We may need you a couple of hours on the weekends if we go out.The schedule may be modified if any of the children are sick and I need someone home.You will never work more than 30 hours a week.We have family in New York and Washington DC.We frequently visit these places and of course you would be welcome to come with us if you would like.We frequently go skiing and you would also so be invited to come on any of these trips.Thank you for considering our family.
